In order for the client to communicatewith the simulator, you must also have the latest version of FSUIPC installed. It doesn't need to be aregistered version; the freeware version will work fine. The file, FSUIPC.DLLis to be placed in your flight simulator 'modules' folder.
When you start the FSE client for thefirst time, you will need to enter your 'Game World' account information (possibly different than your Community Forums account password). This is a one-timeentry. If all goes well, you will receive a message indicating that youraccount was accepted. If you ever change your password on the FSE Game World website,be sure to update it here as well.

Important Note: Due to limitations in how Microsoft has designeddot.net installation options, please note that you MUST use Internet Explorer to install the SimConenct Client. You may use other browsers with FSEconomy, however the SimConnect client installation requires the use of Internet Explorer.
Pleaseread and follow these instructions carefully, as the SinConnect client installationprocess is sensitive.
Using Internet Explorer, click here to go to theinitial installation page and then click the 'install' button to start theinstallation.
Note: If you do not have Internet Explorer set as your default browser, you may receive an error halfway through installation. To work around this, return to the installation page linked above and click the 'Launch' link. Installation will then continue.
After installation, the client can befound in your Windows Start Menu, under www.fseconomy.com. If client changes are issued, it will automatically updateitself so you should only need to install once.
Open the client, and navigate to FILE> CONFIG, and enter your 'Game World' username and password. (possibly different than your Community Forums account password). If you ever change your password, be sure to update that in theclient as well.
You can install the SimConnect client onto asecondary computer that is on the same LAN segment as your FSX computer. If you chose to do so, please click here to install theFSX connection library on the second computer. This library is already installed on your primary FSXcomputer.
X-Plane Client
The installationfor the X-Plane Client is somewhat complex. If youexperience issues with installing the X-Plane client, please feel free to seekassistance via the FSE Forums.
X-Plane can be used on Windows, MacOS, and Linux operating systems. Although the process is the same for each, you will need to install different versions of the below files specific to your OS. The setup instructions and images below willuse Windows 7 64 bit platform.
Summary: To use X-Plane with FSEconomy, you need the following:
- Python Software (version 2.7.x) (allows python scripts to run on your computer)
- Python Interface (allows X-Plane to communicate with Python scripts)
- X-Economy (a simple python script that communicates between your simulator and the FSE system)
